Fun With Recycled Materials

The students were asked to bring some recycled material from home.They worked together in teams to  create buildings, robots, vehicles during the PAL lessons.

Outdoor Education

The last PAL lesson on outdoor education had the children exploring the eco pond & eco garden  in our school. They learned about poisonous plants and the eco system.

Length & Mass Performance Task

This term, the students did a Performance Task on Length & Mass. They were required to measure the length of some items using a ruler and compare the lengths.
They were also tasked  to measure the mass of given items and compare the difference mass.
Most of the children enjoyed and did well in the assessment. It was a familiar task that they have done in the classroom setting.

A handful of students were still unsure how to read the scales on the weighing scales. The level teachers have worked together to conduct a remedial session for these learners.
