2H Teachers' Day Concert Performance

On 31 Aug, it was finally 2H's turn to peform on stage as part of the school's Every Child A Performer (ECAP) program. They shone and dazzled the crowd with their talent and hard work in the last few weeks.

I am proud of the children as they performed the song " In this moment" with their lovely singing and well co-ordinated actions. A group of parent volunteers met together a month before and put their creative hands together to create the costumes for the class. I would like to thank the following mummies for their hard work :

2) Mrs Loh ( Chuan Kit's Mum)
3) Mrs Yeoh ( Chloe's Mum)

Special thanks also go to Mr and Mrs Ho ( Zxan's parents) who came to help the children changed into their costumes.The performance would not be possible without their hard work behind the scene. Thanks also to all the parents who came to support and encourage the children. I hope you enjoyed their performance as much as they enjoyed putting it up.

How do we show Integrity ?

We had a assembly talk on Integrity on 24 July . We learned that having integrity means being honest & choosing to do the right thing and making right decisions even when nobody is watching.

I am glad that the studenst in the class are able to understand what "INTEGRITY" means to them. They have shared what they learned about integrity in their reflection sheets. Here , I share some of the best work submitted.

Fun with Fractions

Fractions was one of my favourite topics when I was a student. So I was excited to teach this topic & look forward to sharing my knowledge with the class.

I noticed how the little ones are easily engaged and delighted just by giving them the fraction discs as manipulative. They were tasked to compare the sizes of these unlike fraction pieces & sort them out by arranging them  in order of size .

Our class went on a learning journey to Jurong Bird park on 24 July 2012. This learning journey is part of the children's holistic assessment for English this term. They will be required to create their individual photostory using the photostory software .

We were thankful that the weather was fine that day. It was a tiring but fun day of outing for all of us.

Special thanks to Miss Eunice Chew and Mrs Loh ( Chuan Kit's mum) who came along with our class. Some of the photos taken below were also captured by Mrs Loh.

I look forward to seeing the children's photostories when they are ready.
