Our class recently completed a big book titled "The Grasshopper & The Ant" . It is a book about a grasshopper who sang all day and did not store up food. When winter came, it did not have food to eat. Luckily for it, the ants who had been working all summer offered the grasshopper some food.
The grasshopper offered his singing to entertain the ants' families in return.
The students made a character band to wear around their head as they act out the play.
They had fun acting and reciting their parts.
